 Hi,
Possibly  you  are  facing  Bacterial  infection, this  is  due  to  poor  water  conditions,as  it  is  your  tank  is  over  stocked. What  is  your  water  change  regime?Ideally  it  should  be  80%twice  a  week  IMO.
Now,remove  all  the  stones,UGF  and  keep  the  tank  bare  bottom, change  100%water  with  dechlorinator  add  0.5%  Rock  salt  to  the  tank(0.5%is  5gms  per  litre  of  water)add  any  propreitory  medication  for  bacterial  infection,  you  can  add  methylene  blue  if  specific  medication  for  bacterial  treatment  is  not  available.
Do  not  feed  the  fish  and  do  water  change  every  alternate  day.
 Hope  your  fish  recover,keep  posted
 with  warm  regards
 Shishir  kamat

 Niroo,
Remove  your  Gravel/Stones  and  wash  your  tank  properly.  In  the  meantime,  keep  your  goldies  in  bucket  and  add  Anti-ich  and  General  Aid  medicine.  quarantine  them  for  two  hours.  Also  intoduce  air-pump  in  the  bucket  for  air  circulation.  Do  not  feed  them  for  one  day.
 Wash  your  filter  properly.
After  cleaning  tank,  add  water  and  use  Anti-Chlorine  (1  spoon).  Run  filter  and  after  an  hour,  put  your  goldies  one  by  one  (intervals  of  5minutes).

Use  proper  and  branded  feed.  Dont  feed  them  in  huge  amount.

I  will  pray  for  your  goldies  as  they  are  the  first  welcome  of  every  hobbyist.   Thumb Up

 Enjoy  Aquaspacing.

 Cheers
 Sunny

When  fish  crash  on  the  bottom  and  do  not  swim,  it  is  usually  a  sign  that  they  are  exhausted.  .,.,.There  are  many  reasons  a  fish  can  become  exhausted,  but  quite  often  they  have  been  sick,,.,.  and  probably  showed  symptoms  such  as  gasping,  shimmy,  or  clamped  fins,  before  they  became  tired  and  crashed  on  the  bottom.,.,.
This  is  POP  eye  and  ROT  Fins  tye  fo  disease.

This  link  will  be  very  usefull  for  all  goldies  keeper.

Gold  fish  are  very  heavy  bioload  fish,  they  eat  a  lot  and  poop  a  lot.
They  need  at  least  10  g  of  water  per  fish  at  adult  size.  Your  tank  would  be  40  g,  so  judge  for  yourself.
Also  a  UG  filter  is  not  capable  enough  for  heavy  waste  generated  by  goldies,  you  need  a  good  quality  power  filter  or  a  cainster  filter  would  be  best.  Two  power  filters  in  this  tank  can  do  the  job.
Your  fish  are  suffering  from  fin  rot  &  baterial  infection,  both  of  these  are  symptomic  of  bad  water  conditions.
You  said  you  are  using  UG  filter  for  filteration,  as  time  progresses,  due  to  high  waste  generation  of  goldies  your  ug  will  start  to  chock  and  mulm  will  start  to  accumlate  under  the  ug  plates.  This  will  decrease  the  efficieny  of  UG  and  nitrifying  bacteria  will  start  to  die,  this  will  cause  ammonia  to  build  up  in  your  tank,  and  weaken  your  fish  and  cause  ammina  burns,  fin  rot,  ick  and  bacterial  infection.
Get  two  power  filters  in  your  tank,  clean  one  of  them  weekly  on  a  alternate  basis,  this  will  not  kill  your  nitrifying  bacteria.
Note  that  a  through  cleaning  of  ank  will  kill  all  nitrifying  bacteria  and  tank  will  start  to  cycle  again.

But  chances  are  there  na  that  your  gravel/filter  affected  and  same  affects  on  becterias.,.,.

Its  upto  you  Niroo..what  type  of  treatment  you  wana  give  to  your  fishes.,..

 Enjoy  Aquaspcaing

Is  that  means  you  have  the  setup  for  last  2  years  running?  If  it  is  so  then  it's  better  not  to  spoil  the  existing  setup.  Your  tank  is  already  having  a  good  Nitrifying  Bacteria  Colony.  New  setup  means  destroing  the  colony.  Your  fishes  are  getting  problem  due  to  bad  water  quality  and  other  bacterial  infection.  Try  to  introduce  proper  filteration  system  and  fight  against  the  harmfull  bacterias  only  with  medicine.

 Wish  you  all  the  best.

 Hi  Niranjan,

You  can  use  AZOO  Anti  Oodinium  or  AZOO  Bacteria  Treater.  Instruction  &  dosage  are  written  on  the  packs.

You  dont  really  need  a  seperate  tank.
The  main  purpose  is  to  isolate  the  fish  and  treat  it.
I  sometimes  use  plastic  buckets  to  isolate  and  treat.
I  have  2  of  them  which  are  kept  seperately  and  not  used  for  any  other  purpose.

A  glass  tank  allows  us  to  view  the  fish  hence  it  is  better  than  above.
