Poor  Mr.  Sebastin  John  is  becoming  very  popular  or  rather  (am  I  permitted  to  say)  notorious  on  this  site.  Sad

To  be  frank  i  have  no  love  lost  for  any  LFS,  after  all  what  are  these  people  doing?  They  are  ruining  something  that  has  taken  maybe  millions  of  years  to  form.  Till  the  time  people  do  not  realise  that  50  or  60  years  down  the  line  we  might  not  have  any  of  this  stuff  when  you  go  scuba  diving,  or  your  children  will  get  to  see  all  this  only  in  glass  jars  at  museums  in  the  future  till  then  this  will  continue.  I  just  hope  someday  people  start  to  grow  them  in  farms  and  this  will  help  in  sustained  cultures,  i  know  it  sounds  easier  than  it  is  because  i  am  sure  even  that  is  banned  in  India.  I  think  till  the  time  sustained  culturing  does  not  take  place  we  will  continue  to  see  this  and  also  our  coral  reefs  being  damaged.

 Regards

There  were  no  corals  in  Sringar  Complex  on  MG  Road,  Live  rocks  were  taken  in  as  live  corals  and  they  had  estimated  the  cost  as  being  a  few  lacks.
   ROFL

cops  dont  know  the  difference  b/w  live  rocks  and  coral,  They  need  to  be  educated  on  this.

God  knows  what  they  seized  from  Amity  Aquatec.

It  is  really  very  tough  to  educate  them  because  they  cant  be  like  us  in  couple  of  hours  or  days..  we  know  these  all  because  we  spend  time  on  this  hobby  but  they  spend  time  on  their  duties.

Infringement  of  any  law  must  be  dealt  with.  In  this  case,  if  it  is  live  coral,  the  offender  must  be  dealt  with.  Already  most  coral  in  our  seas  are  destroyed  due  to  trawling  and  other  improper  fishing  practices.  What  is  the  law  doing?  Their  job  is  admittedly  tough.  They  must  stop  or  control  all  activities  that  harm  our  coral  reefs  and  other  marine  life.  And  we  hobbyists  who  create  a  demand  for  endangered  marine  life  forms  must  also  be  held  responsible.  Just  my  thought.

Nothing  much  needs  to  be  said  of  these  noted  criminals.  They  pretend  to  be  wronged  and  innocent  as  usual.  The  criminal  investigation  department  of  the  forest  cell  has  been  on  the  tail  of  these  guys  for  a  long  time.  They  have  been  repeatedly  raided  and  still  continue  with  impunity  with  they  posse  of  advocates.  These  new  rich  millionaires  would  not  think  twice  to  sue  the  department  if  they  where  unjustly  raided  repeatedly.  Ignorance  is  bliss  is  more  apt  for  most  hobbyists  not  the  law  enforcement  agencies.  Why  are  the  masterminds  absconding  now  leaving  the  poor  staff  to  be  picked  up  ?
