 HI
Sorry  for  the  late  response.  My  tank  is  a  48X24X24  =  120G.
It  is  FO  type  marine  setup  with  argonite  Reef  base.  Unfortunately  i  havent  been  able  to  get  live  rock  in  Delhi  since  the  dealers  here  say  the  item  is  banned  not  sure  if  its  true  though.
I  have  currently  about  7"  of  fish-  1-  sebae  clown,  2  -  Yellow  tail  Damsel,  2  -  Cow  Boxer.
I  have  1  carpet  anemone  and  some  rocks  my  LFS  gave  me  from  gujrat  which  are  not  live  but  since  the  anemone  had  attached  itself  to  the  rock  at  the  LFS  i  chose  to  buy  the  rock  as  well.

Hope  this  helps.  As  on  today  here  are  my  tank  water  params.
 Amonia  -  0
 Nitrite  -  0
 Nitrates  -  5
 PH  -  8.2

The  above  test  results  from  a  tetra  test  kit.  The  amonia  has  gone  down  but  last  week  when  i  did  add  the  anemone  i  had  a  sudden  spike  of  1.5  and  that  took  me  into  a  real  supprise.

 MY  filters  are  as  follows.
 1-  Resun  canister  -  1300l/h
 2  -  Bio  Wheel  -  1300l/h
 3  -  2  X  Internal  Power  filter  -  ATMAN  1300l/h  and  2000l/h
 4  -  9W  UV
 5  -  WEIPRO  Skimmer.

Result  with  2000  L/H  power  head  is  very  good.
Dont  upgrade  to  more  powerful  power  head,  will  be  an  over  kill.  2000  L/H  is  good  enough  to  use  with  SA-2012  skimmer.  Thumb Up

Now  days  LR  are  not  easily  available.  Most  of  the  LFS  owner  says  it  bann  because  they  call  them  reef  building  material.

But  even  there  are  few  people  who  says  live  corals  are  banned  not  LR.
I  dont  know  whats  the  truth  is.   Unsure   Confused

For  making  your  own  LR,  there  are  lots  of  article  present  on  world  wide  web.  Just  google  it  out  Thumb Up

Yep  most  LFS  says  its  bann  cause  of  that.  I  did  goggle  a  lot  of  articles  on  the  same  however  they  all  require  seeding  rock  which  is  the  one  difficult  to  find.  You  could  make  your  rocks  with  cement  and  argonite  reefbase  however  where  will  you  get  the  good  algae  and  bacteria  from  ...  ?

 Any  clues  on  that.

Nowdays  there  are  lots  of  Bio  Bacteria  available  in  the  market  by  different  companies.
What  kind  of  algae  do  you  want,  green  or  coraline?

I  am  looking  at  coraline.  Something  that  even  the  fishes  could  feed  on.

CARIBSEA  has  a  product  called  "Purple  Up"  for  growing  up  coraline  algae.  Though,  never  used  that.
