HM  looks  nice  and  bushy  .
Is  this  the  same  tank  that  you  wanted  to  try  bushy  effect  with  regular  pruning?

 Hi  Tirtha,

 The  scape  looks  nice.

HOB  is  quite  distracting,  adding  black  wallpaper  will  make  it  look  even  better.

 Planning  on  some  foreground  plant??

I  am  also  thinking  to  introducing  FG  plants  but  bit  afraid  to  do  it  middle  of  Delhi  Summer.

Am  a  dude  when  it  comes  to  a  Big  tank  with  MH.  Please  start  a  thread.  We  both  will  get  to  learn  lots  of  things  from  Gurus.

Nash  Bhai....  This  is  not  that  tank  you  gave  it  to  me.  That  one  is  kept  as  a  hospital  tank  as  of  now.  This  one  I  have  started  before  3  months.

Thanks  a  lot  for  the  kind  words.  This  time  I  was  all  set  to  attend  aquatika....  but  some  sudden  urgency  at  home  front  holding  me  back.  Sad

Rohan  ....  That  was  another  tank  with  Rotala  I  was  experimenting  with.  But  I  lost  all  of  them  due  to  Delhi  summer.  They  all  melted  out.  This  cube  saved  by  Karthik.  He  sent  me  2  DC  fans  which  are  helping  me  to  keep  the  Temparature  under  25  degree  somehow.

Buddy....  god  knows  what  is  happening  with  the  Rummy  nose.  Some  times  they  are  holding  superb  color  and  sometimes  they  are  completely  colorless.  Think  I  am  doing  something  wrong.  But  the  Hengeis  are  doing  good  with  stunning  colors.

Will  do  as  you  said  sir.  But  don't  want  to  glue  it...  will  fix  it  with  something  alse  temporarily.

What  man  Thirtha,  I  was  going  to  use  this  tank  as  a  case  study  for  my  presentation!

Having  your  input  live  would  have  helped.

Now  all  the  back  biting  would  be  done  behind  your  back!  Chuckle

Just  curious....  what  kind  of  case  study  it  would  be......  I  can  bet  you....  it  has  the  potential  to  be  the  best  case  study  for  Snails  culturing.   Chuckle

Can  you  give  some  inputs  on  how  you  got  the  HM  to  get  the  bushy  look?

Have  5  stems  of  HM,  the  are  growing  really  well,  i  keep  nipping  off  the  stems  that  start  growing  from  the  middle  of  the  parent  stem  and  keep  plonking  them  back  in  the  substrate......am  i  going  in  the  right  direction?

You  are  doing  it  correctly.  But  don't  prune  the  stems  too  frequently.  Let  them  go  tall  for  2  weeks.  Then  cut  them  from  half  and  plant  2-3  stems  together  .  First  I  prune  them  after  keeping  the  stems  2"  tall.  After  that  3".  After  2  months  when  the  Bush  was  thick,  I  started  prunning  them  in  a  steep  angel.  Cut  them  in  a  steep  angle,  when  they  will  start  to  grow  again,  will  create  better  visual.  Smile

Thanks  buddy!  An  year  back  I  got  a  piece  of  Anubias  nana  from  Karin,  and  now  I  have  arround  15  healthy  cuttings  out  of  it.  I  used  some  of  the  cuttings  here.
