 I  got  my  4  x  2  x  2  planted  tank  done  by  Karthik.  Did  some  checking  around  before  I  went  to  him.  He  does  a  good  job.  To  me  it  seemed  like  good  value  for  money.  His  shop  is  kept  clean  and  nowadays,  he  is  making  more  smaller  tanks  and  additional  racks  in  his  shop.  You  guys  can  check  it  out.

 I  have  been  to  Karthik's  place  a  lot  of  times.

 I  got  most  of  my  plants  and  fishes  from  him.  He  can  get  you  any  fish  you  need.

 I  like  his  planted  tank  very  much  and  I  have  spent  lot  of  time  watching  that  tank.

 What  I  thought  about  the  driftwood  was,
 â€œHe  got  the  driftwood  from  some  river  or  stream  in  the  current  form  (completely  covered  with  algae).  Nobody  can  grow  such  dense  algae  in  an  aquarium,  that  also  only  on  the  driftwood.  One  great  thing  is  he  is  able  to  maintain  the  growth  on  the  driftwood  without  spreading  to  the  nearby  plants.”

 But  now  when  Vyas  said  that  it  is  a  moss  I’m  really  surprised.

 @Experts
 If  it  is  a  moss  please  give  ID.

 Regards
 harikamal

   Well  I  am  no  expert   Smile   but  the  plant  used  on  the  drift  wood  is   Cladophora  aegagrophila,its  actually  an  algea,for  a  break  a  good  looking  controlable  one!   Chuckle  .  Also  called  Moss  Balls  locally.  Check  the  tropica  website  for  details.
