hey everyone 
some good news... 
my pearl gourami's had paired out so i moved them to a separate tank.  Â 
till this evening the female was looking really fat and chubby with the eggs .
Today had gone out for a movie in the evening and got home to see that she is all thin and now the male is guarding the nest very closely.
Can see lots of small yellow eggs all mixed up with the bubbles in the nest clearly.
The female is just sitting on the bottom of the tank and moves occasionally. The male is not letting her anywhere close to him and the nest.
now my question is should i remove the female ? im just scared about doing it because im worried about disturbing the eggs.
Have them in a 18x12x9 tank with exactly 20 liters of water. about 7 inches on water in the tank.
how much methyl blue should i add ?
have prepared infusoria for the fry with potato's.
P.S. if i do get fry then i will be happy to hand them out to IAH members only   Â

Remove the female without disturbing the nest asap. You can try it with bare hand. Leave male to tend the eggs. When the fry are free swimmers remove the male and start feeding Infusoria. Also try to source BBS.

ok i just removed the female and put her back in the main tank.
now hoping for the best
hope everything happens just right
P.S. anyone in Bombay have Brine Shrimp Eggs that i can buy ??

hello again everyone
24 hr update on the eggs
so far looking good i think.
i can see a lot and i mean a lot of tiny little black eggs. So far i dont see any signs of fungus either .
how much longer before i can see any fry guys ? The eggs were laid about this time yesterday .
Now then if everything goes alright then i would love to give the fry away but only to our IAH members want them to get a good home .
So if they hatch .. is anyone intrested ?

No sir no heater in there . Was thinking of it but when i checked out the water temp it was 26 odd degrees . But will add a heater in a day or 2 for sure once they are a little bigger.
Please let me know if this is the right thing to do guys.
