Professional  (trainee)  photograpers  of  IAH  one  from  Chennai  and  another  two  from  Bangalore  will  be  accompaning  us  on  this  field  trip.

They  will  be  bringing  along  their  equipment  and  photography  tanks.

Got  a  strange  look  and  a  snide  remark  from  a  fishermans  wife  when  I  told  her  we  would  release  the  fish  after  photographing.  Crazy  city  nuts  indeed.  This  happened  on  the  recon  trip  with  Nayak.

There  was  a  small  hotel  in  a  remote  place  where  they  kept  fishes  in  a  big  bottle  on  the  cash  counter  alive  and  healthy  for  months.  No  electricity  there  or  if  there  was  it  probably  only  for  a  few  hours  a  day.  The  secret  -They  fed  the  fish  RAVA  and  did  a  daily  water  change.  (A  hundred  percent  daily  water  change).

They    may  not  be  a  water  purification  plant  around  and  the  water  must  be  used  straight  from  the  Kumaradhara  river.  The  water  from  the  taps  in  the  hotel  rooms  we  will  be  staying    has  a  lovely  golden  colour.

 Guys!

This  comes  to  wish  you  all  a  successful,  safe  and  splendid  trip.  Please  bring  back  lots  and  lots  of  photographs.

   Smile
 Jenny

P.S:  The  cake  didn't  come  out  as  well  as  I'd  have  liked.    Razz  And  it  is  supposed  to  be  eaten  with  Chocolate  sauce.  Since  that  is  rather  a  sticky  and  messy  affair  and  not  suitable  for  the  trip,  I've  used  grated  chocolate.  Very Happy

Latest  reports  by  the  baker  state  that  there  are  nineteen  pieces  of  chocolate  cake.

The  c.c  will  melt  quickly  in  the  heat.

Since  it  will  be  travelling  in  our  car  (Versa)  the  only  taste  of  it  you  guys  will  get  is  by  licking  our  cake  stained  fingers.

Now  let  me  stick  your  balloon  with  a  nice  sharp  pin,  Gentlemen!!!

I  cannot  cook  at  all.  Very Happy  I  am  still  in  the  stage  of  trial  and  errors.  In  this  instance,  there  were  probably  more  errors.  Oops  But,  I  am  always  on  the  lookout  for  more  and  more  guinea  pigs.  Oops  My  usual  guinea  pigs  (my  dad,  my  mom,  my  bro  and  Ranjit)  have  become  very  wary  of  my  cooking.

Since  yesterday,  I  have  baked  3  cakes,  out  of  which  only  1  ressembles  a  cake.  Razz  I  have  also  decorated  it  with  grated  chocolate  to  cover  up  all  the  flaws.  But  guys,  it  is  egg-free.Smile

ROFL      Madan,  don't  you  be  in  such  a  hurry!!!Smile

 1.  I  Burn/Char  all  that  I  lay  my  hands  on.  I  am  the  black-thumbed  gal.
 2.  I  have  once  baked  a  cake  with  rice  flour  thinking  it  was  Maida.
 3.  The  first  cake  I  ever  baked,  I  ran  out  of  butter,  so  I  decided  to  use  OIL.  Unfortunately,  my  fingers  fell  on  a  bottle  of  Groundnut  oil.  I  didn’t  know  that,  but  the  end  result  was  a  cake  that  smelled  and  tasted  of  peanuts.  (My  brother  graciously  ate  the  entire  lot,  and  was  forced  to  stay  away  from  school  for  the  next  couple  of  days).
 4.  Most  of  the  cakes  I  bake  never  come  out  of  the  baking  tray,  and  often,  I  just  pass  out  spoons,  and  tell  everyone  to  dig  in.  Very Happy

There  are  plenty  of  weird  episodes..  but  am  already  embarassed.  Therefore,  Madan,  I  suggest  that  you  open  the  box  of  cakes  when  everyone  is  on  the  brink  of  starvation.

   Smile
 Jenny

 That's  all  in  the  past.

Your  Family  have  survived  the  rigors  of  testing  so  we  are  not  in  the  least  bit  worried.
More  over  your  mom  sure  has  a  hand  in  this  cake  baking,  like  she  had  in  teh  sandwiches.  So  I  ain't  worried.  She  wouldn't  want  here  daughter's  secrets  all  over  the  Western  ghats  would  she  now?

 My  baloon  did  not  explode.
