 Very  Nice  Tank,
The  only  problem  is  that  all  those  decors  will  be  hard  to  remove  the  poops  buildup.
Once  the  poop  buildup  too  much,  the  tank  will  run  into  problems  with  diseases
and  fish  death.   Just  my  opinion.

I  really  like  to  do  those  type  of  designs  before,  but  nowadays,  I  like  to
keep  it  simple  so  cleanup  is  easy  and  fast.

 You  have  told
 "Size  6'x2'x2'
 Volume  Apx.  300  litres  "

How  can  it  be  300  lits  only?!!!  Theoretically  the  volume  is  679lits.  Approximately  175  gallons.

With  that  kind  of  decorations,  wont  its  be  too  difficult  a  task  to  clean  this  tank  once  the  detritus  starts  building  up.  I  think  what  James  has  written  is  very  very  correct.

 Dear  James
I  know  somebody  will  ask  about  the  problems.  The  bottom  of  the  tank  made  of  vitrified  tiles  so  that  2  water  outlets  with  valves  can  be  fitted  there  by  drilling  the  tiles.  So  you  see  its  very  easy  to  change  the  water  -  Just  open  the  valve  within  10  minutes  the  whole  tank  will  be  empty.  Even  if  you  look  minutely  you  may  notice  that  the  2  Ehiem  Filters  inlets  also  have  valves  attached  in  the  same  fashion.I  think  those  who  are  thinking  of  making  big  tanks  can  implement  the  same  idea  with  utter  effectiveness.

 Kaushik

 Dear  sandipan
Calculating  the  surface  areas  of  those  huge  boulders  each  weighting  more  than  20  kgs  I  assume  the  capacity  of  the  tank  may  be  300-350  liters  and  not  more.

Koushik  Da....  Please  tell  him  to  remove  these  Blue  Lights.  It's  making  an  out  of  the  world  effect.  Normal  6500K  or  8000K  light  will  be  the  best  bet  for  the  tank.

May  be  those  water  Outlet  at  the  bottom  will  make  the  water  change  simple,  but  still  I  feel,  the  tank  will  have  lots  of  dead  spots.

Is  it  not  possible  to  remove  the  rounded  stone  from  the  front  and  provide  a  simple  sand  bed  for  the  fishes?

 Cool.  Smile

Regarding  making  holes.  Its  just  as  easy  making  circular  holes  in  glass.  There  is  no  need  of  vitrified  tiles  and  the  addition  joints  it  entails.
Adip  has  made  them  in  the  bottom  of  all  his  glass  tanks  in  his  fish  room.  Deepak  brid  has  done  them  holes  in  several  different  locations  in  a  glass  tank.
You  get  a  compass  like  diamond  edge  glass  cutter  to  do  holes  of  various  sizes.  And  you  get  fixed  size  circular  drill  bits  too.

Maybe,  I  need  new  glasses,  Very Happy  Not  able  to  see  any  fish  in  that  tank.
looks  more  like  a  marine  tank,  hope  the  parrots  don't  start  of  thinking  themselves  to  be  marine  fish  with  all  those  corals.  ROFL   ROFL
Tirath  is  right,  ask  him  to  remove  blue  lights.
Pls  take  it  as  conctructive  critisim  Thumb Up

Thanks  to  all.  Due  to  technical  snag  yesterday  I  was  not  able  to  to  post  answers.  Anyhow,  I  ve  already  suggested  Gautam  to  change  the  T5  balast  to  white  one  and  to  make  a  foreground  using  sugar  sand  or  aragonite.  But  the  problem  is  he  is  a  newcomer  in  this  hobby  and  thereby  hyperactive,  so  I  can't  pour  cold  water  to  his  enthusiasm.Very  soon  he  himself  will  understand  the  differnce  between  Keeping  Discus  and  Koi  Carp  Smile  .
 Regards
