|
Today after returning from office got an hour to enjoy my tank and fishes. And after a long time spend some time to click couple of pictures.
Angel (Milky White)
Angel (Sunset. Now she is vertically more than 8 inches.)
Ramerezi :
Golden Ramerezi:
Otto resting on Crypt Leaf:
My Heavy Duty Algae Eater:
My Old Good Friend, Java Moss:
Beauty of My Spiky Moss:
Fissiden. Finally they have started growing and now peeping out of the net:
Cryptocoryne wendtii (Tropica) :
Anubias Sp. nana (Somehow they are growing like crazy in my all tanks )
And the tank with Crystal Clear Water (Finally)
I didn't use Flash while taking the pictures, so some of them are bit dark.
Let me know if you like them. |

Nice Pictures Thirtha
The Fissidens seem to be taking its own time to grow .
JMTCW. Have you tried shooting with the white balance at Fluorescent? It might reduce the overall green cast that some of your your pictures have.
No offense meant but your tank looks better when seen in person than its pictures suggest |

Good looking tank, Thirtha. Why a single platinum with three Sunsets? |

I am happy to see they are coming out of net. Growth rate is too slow.
I didn't use Fluorescent mode, but I changed the light itself. You saw the tank with 4200K Osram Power Balls. Now I have changed the bulb to Astralux 8000K bulb. Thats why you can see this green tinch everywhere I am happy that you loved my tank. But I failed to show you the tank with Crystal clear water.

Suraj, my wife picked them up from an LFS and there were only 3 Sunsets in his stock that time thats why Milky white came into picture. :)

Bappa picked up these moss from Singapur in January. And they directly moved into my tank. :D
Angels are great if they don't pair up and start breeding. If they paired up once, will become too aggressive. And I have 2 breeding pair in a single tank. |

Very nice pics---and congrats for being teh Algae fighter --Generation X ! Just one suggestion---let the rotala (is it?) at the back of the drift wood grow and reach the top so that you can conceal all your pipes! will come over soon to raid for plants. |

Excellent Snaps Tirthankar!. Fishes and Plants both seem very happy to be in that tank. Everything seem to be clean and neat!
Few questions -
How often do you change the water?
How long do you let the filter run on a day?
How often do you clean the gravel - do you use one of those chinease automatic Gravel cleaner?
and finally,
Why only 13 snaps?? you should flaunt as many tank pics as possible.
Regards |
