IMO  this  frozen/freeze  commercial  stuff  do  no  good  for  discus.
Would  suggest  Hikari  Discus  Bio-Gold  pellets  instead.

These  are  frozen  Mysis  shrimp.  You  get  frozen  blood  worms  in  similar  packing  from  the  same  company.

The  shop  has  to  have  a  freezer  since  the  stuff  has  to  be  kept  frozen  24/7.

In  Bangalore  a  few  hobbyists  get  the  stuff  and  distribute  it  to  known  die  hard  aficionados.  One  of  the  best  food  available.  Thumb Up

 Hi  Trevor,

I  just  wanted   to  ask.  Aren't  there  any  guys  in  India  who  are  freezing  brine  shrimp  and  blood  worms?  I  will  be  looking  for  some  of  these  when  i  do  get  back  hence  the  question.  Also  does  anyone  have  them  in  stock  right  now?

 HI  Nikhil,

There  are  people  in  India  who   supply  freeze  brine  shrimps  and  bloodworms  and  tubi.worms  too.

I  had  been  to  an  LFS  near  my  place  and  he  showed  me  the  frozen  brood  worms  and  t.worms.  I  guess  the  company  that  supplies  them  is  from  Chennai.  Not  sure  with  the  brand.  If  i'm  not  wrong  it  was  manufactured  under  the  name  of  CMS...(  Not  sure).

 Havent  used  this  frozen  food.

 Regards,
 Surya

Hikari  Bio  pure  3  step  sterlized  frozen  blood  worms  are  good  ,  but  presently  I  don't  think  you  will  get  this  product  .  Officially  this  product  is  not  allowed  to  import  ,  some  carriers  brings  these  and  are  made  available  for  us  ,  but  right  now  customs  are  tight  hence  no  one  is  bringing  such  bulky  items  .

One  more  thing  about  this  product  is  that  it  should  be  stored  properly  (  temp  wise  ),  once   it  get  soft  then  it  gives  problems  to  the  fishes  .

 Thanks
