I am planning to DI myself a wall hanging aquarium. Can anybody help me with construction ideas? What I exactly need is the design of the frame, in which the glass is fixed. I have seen these kind of aquariums in many websites and shops. But the problem is that nobody is willing to show me the rear view. How is the tank fixed on the wall, just like a wall clock or a painting?
And one more thing, I am not going to put any fish in this aquarium. Just an aquascape. I dont think these tanks are suitable for fish

One idea would be to have a Slab protruding out from the wall with more of the slab inside the wall.
Below is one such schematic, the left side is where the tank would be visible. That way space does not become a constraint.
The portion protruding outside can be surrounded by a "wooden frame" to help lend the feel and hide the insides

you can use iron angles to hold the tank on all edges and then can hang the frame however you want, that way no forces are acting on the tank due to hanging the tank, as all forces will be on the angles
some thing like building a cage and then building the tank inside the cage, as they do for large tanks, to provide support to the tank.
once you build it show it off so that, some of us who haven't seen something like this
