 Hi  Friends,
 
 I  am  getting  30gs  of  live  rock  ..ill  be  personally  going  and  selecting  them  ...  there  is  a  train  journey  of  around  30  hours  involved  back  home  ...i  would  like  to  know  whether  live  rocks  will  survive  this  long  journey  ..also  any  tips  to  keep  them  intact  ...

 Most  of  the  people  do  get  live  rocks  like  that  only.  There  wont  be  any  problem
 You  just  have  to  cure  the  LRs  for  20-25  days  atleats.
 Keep  in  mind  while  curing  them,  you  must  have  enough  stock  of  Activated  Carbon  to  use  in  the  tank  as  filter  media  to  eliminate  the  stinky  smell.  While  curing  they  smell  like  hell  that  even  a  dog  will  run  away.  Dog   
 
 Ask  the  supplier  to  wrap  each  of  them  in  wet  cloth  >  wet  paper  >  fish  bags.  (LR  >  wet  cloth  >  wet  paper  >  fish  packets).

 Either  ask  him  to  send  the  same  in  air  tight  container  along  with  sea  water.
