Yogesh, thanks for sharing all the infos. Now I have so many questions to ask you that you may get ultimately tired. But can't help asking. Why are you not feeding the wild ones with BHM?I understand that it would foul the water but you always go with super water changes(I still remember you saying that you went for 4 WCs for Wayne's BDs).
Moreover what about the protein composition of black worms and bloodworms compared to BHM.
I hope you are not mad with me asking so many silly questions.

During initial keeping stage of this beautiful fish, it makes more sense to look & observe them. Frankly speaking, it will take me some months to say they have 'truly' settled in my tank. Breeding at this stage is too early to be considered, also these require more time to adjust them in captivity & breeding is long way to go (not many successful reports about their breeding in captivity).
These will not be forced for daily WCs simply due to pH balance to be maintained. Hence, preferring dry food like FBW to them at this stage. Though have couple of 2217s running their tank, would not be thinking of feeding BHM so early which will foul water quality.
I offer our captive bred discus (small-sized) multiple WCs just because to grow them faster, even BDs are getting only 2 WCs per day now (averaging 3"+ size).
No worries at all my friend, keep shooting your questions.
These discus looks well set in your tank , do you still maintain the Ph or our Mumbai water is perfectly fit for them
First few months, I'm not going to play around with pH. Actually I shifted them all to different tank yesterday using 50% old tankwater. Added mixture of RO & fresh tapwater so that total-water reading was around 6pH. Will be gradually acclimatizing them from 6pH>>6.5>>7pH so that this pH balance circus should not be worrying factor in future.
This is phenominal Yogesh...Now I suppose you won't say that they would take a few more months to get settled... .
But I must say man get more of them...atleast 5 to 6 more..It would be sensational to see the wilds schooling all together..
Keep us posted..
Haha Abhi...NKS still has 3pcs of RSGs left which I have requested Rick to reserve for me if possible. No idea if anymore are coming in his tomorrow's or next week's shipment as WC season is already well & truly over.
Hey that's a great news Yogesh.Wishing you all the luck man.But did you check Clementi or Seaview if they are having WCs for sale?
Thanks buddy. As I updated in other thread earlier, WCDs rarely hit local market there this season due to high mortality rate.
So would prefer to wait until next season to check with Gan or NKS by end of this year.

Vaibhav, i think you misjudged it because of low lighting in the mentioned video. The WCs are too good in size(width especially) and the way their pattern is organized. I would suggest you to google for WC discus in order to get an idea. My favs are RSG.
