There  are  alot  of  small  streams  and  water  bodies  along  NH  8  just  10  -  15km  after  crossing  the  creek  bridge.

Oh  no,  Lohagad  booty  is  on  the  forum!   Crying or Very sad

That  was  one  of  my  'childhood  investments',  for  the  few  members  who  have  heard  of  it.  Livebearer  and  Cory  heaven.  Wink

 hi  guys,

i  had  been  to  lohagad  last  year  for  trek,  up  in  the  fort  in  the  centre  there  is  a  water  hole  /  well  /  crecent  from  where  people/trekers/picnicers  carry  water  for  drinking..  (  locals  say  this  well  doesnt  go  dry  any  time  of  the  year  )  this  water  hole  has  abundance  of  mollys/trangilens/guppys  this  i  had  seen  and  i  guess  sum  goldfish  /sumthing  like  that  (  m  not  sure  )  there  is  large  water  catchment  area  but  i  doubt  anybody  can  go  as  i  m  sure  it  might  be  dry...  as  the  heat  this  time  is  of  the  year  is  quite  abnormal.

are  u  guys  planning  to  go  in  the  fort  to  collect  fishes  or  is  it  sum  kind  of  a  river  or  small  lake  /pond  any  were  close  to  lohagad.
guys  m  not  sure  wether  i  will  be  able  to  join  u  as  i  had  planned  to  go  to  take  a  break  and  go  to  goa  on  my  bike.  in  the  second  week  of  may.

hey  ashish  we  do  make  a  good  team  to  catch  fishys.....

sameer   u  are  right  lohagad  and  visapur  are  worth  seeing  in  the  rains....  and  da  ride  is  aslo  damn  gud..  specially  if  you  go  via  old  bombay  pune  highway..  the  experience  its  just  out  of  this  world...
