 Hello  guys,

I  recently  bought  a  flower  horn  from  a  friend  of  mine.  It  is  supposed  to  be  a  super  red  and  Yellow  cross.  Have  taken  a  lot  of  interest  in  keeping  this    fellow  and  will  like  to  know  more  of  keeping  flower  horns.  I  will  be  happy  if  anyone  can  share  his  or  her  experiance  with  raising  good  flower  horns.

 Hi

I  know  only  a  little  about  the  louhans  t  Sad  hough  i  accept  with  adip  that  they  eat  like  pigs  and  grow  fast.

I  grew  two  of  them  (the  first  batch  in  Chennai)  to  the  maximum  sizes    Cool  and  had  given  to  few  of  my  friends.

Regarding  the  color,  it  all  depends  upon  the  food  habits

 Hello  Shishir,

I  am  now  really  happy  with  my  flower  horns  growth  and  colouration.  I  feed  him  only  once  a  day  with  the  beef  heart  recepie  that  I  hav  posted  in  this  site.  Please  refer  to  it,  this  one  is  really  good  and  my  fellow  has  got  a  decent  head  bump  already  for  his  size  and  as  regards  colouration  just  increase  the  Tetra  bits  concentration  and  that  does  the  magic.  I  suggest  frequent  feeding  of  prawn  as  prawn  also  increases  the  colouration  in  the  fish.  One  can  alternate  feeding  prawn  in  the  nights  and  beef  during  the  day  as  beef  take  a  long  time  to  digest,  prawn  can  be  digested  very  easily.

 Regards

 Venket
