 Hi  Guys,

Suddenly  I  found  last  2  weeks  the  Red  color  is  disappearing  and  it  looks  like  tranpernt  color  body  and  fin....one  is  almost  gone  ...other  one  still  some  red  here  and  there  ...healthwise  they  are  fine,  taking  food  and  flaring  when  they  see  each  other........

WHATS  WRONG  WITH  this  HM  !!

I  am  really  surprised.....I  bought  it  but  at  that  time  they  are  dark  red...  Crying or Very sad

Betta  experts  Pls.  let  me  know  the  reason.....  Sad

If  they  are  otherwise  healthy,  they  might  have  marble  genes  in  them.

A  marbled  betta,  changes  its  color  pattern  without  any  warning  or  sign.  This  change  can  sometimes  be  in  a  very  short  period  of  time  too.
 Some  pics  will  definitely  help!.

Anyway,  as  long  as  they  are  eating  and  flaring  well,  i  wouldnt  worry  about  them.

thats  a  marbled  betta.  You  cant  predict  whether  it  will  get  back  to  its  normal  color  or  not.

 Abhi  Da,
just  a  tip,  while  taking  pictures,  make  sure  the  camera  focusses  on  the  fish,  inside  the  tank,  rather  than  the  reflections,  on  the  front  glass  of  the  tank.  You  will  get  sharper  images  Smile

abhi  da  if  you  keep  them  in  dark.  And  if  you  expose  them  in  light  suddenly  they  go  pale.  this  happens  if  they  are  stressed.  but  after  some  time  there  colour  returns.
This  happens  all  the  time  with  my  Bettas.  Cheer Up
