would love to see it actual working condition over a tank.
those lenses may result it spot lite effect. |

What's the reflective surface used on your build? I'd like to try LEDs as well but toying with the idea of building one myself versus having it fabricated in parts from different people. |

Thanks for the comments..
@ Sushant,
This setup was done for an IAH member. Optics is used to cover the entire surface area of the tank. When all LED"s are lit together, the spots will not be visible, as each LED's spots will overlap with the others.
@ Mel,
Reflective surface is not required for LED's since optics are used.
@ tarang,
The setup is completely made up of Acrylic sheet. Used 5mm black acrylic sheet for the case and crystal clear for the legs to hold the hood to the tank. |
