Hi,
Hayath had posted a few pics of his Rohtees. Mine are in a 4 feeter for some time now and have grown quite constantly. Not exactly fast, but they look great. Thought I'd share some pics

Hi Andy,
from what I heard they grow up to around 20 inch. They are in the process of losing their stripes at the moment. Supposedly thery will be plain silver as adults.
Did not manage to find a photograph of adult fish on the web, hence quite interested to see how they develop :-) |

Hi Beta,
yes, they seem to become more golden, than when I caught them in December. That time they ware pure silver with very identical black stripes.
Are yours leaving the valesneria in peace? Mine ate absolutely every plant in reach :-)
@Jibran, Scorpio, Rimpel: Thanks, will keep you updated how they develop
@Lawrence: I think they will look good in silver as well. Because their shape is quite nice and they are quite interactive fish :-)
Cheers |

Beta, do you still have them and if yes what size are they at right now. The biggest of mine is around 3 inch.
Where did you catch yours? I got mine in Hampi. When I was really dazzled by their behaviour. Immediately hiding under rocks, more like chiclids than anything else.

No I don't have them now. The pics are from 5-6 years back. I got them from a LFS here. |

Ah ok, until what size did you keep them? Do you have any specific tips on how to keep them well.
Right now they are in a 4 footer with different other barbs, such as P. filamentosus, Osteobrama cotio, Garras, etc. and on a diet of dried feed, cut frozen prawns and a lot of blanched vegetables.
Cheers |
