Indiapetstore  will  soon  be  launching  its  LED  Segment  of  Lighting.  Gone  are  the  days  of  High  Heat  and  High  Powerbills.  LED's  with  a  work  life  to  last  you  5years.

 These  will  be  available  in  2700K-3500K  ,  5700K  -  8000K  and  14000  -  25000K.

Bulbs  will  be  in  aluminium  fittings,  directly  plugs  into  220V  wall  socket.  Heat  sinks,  drivers  all  built  in.

Here  is  a  first  hand  preview  of  our  Sample  10W  fitting.

Products  will  be  launched  soon.  Price  range  would  be  between  Rs  2400  to  Rs  7500.  Pre  -orders  will  start  next  month.  Estimated  delivery  time  is  45days.

 Warm  Regards

 Hi

For  a  2  feet  you  can  go  with  2  X  10W  and  3  Feet  either  2  X  30W  or  3  X  20W.  This  should  cost  you  somewhere  between  4000  to  6000.  However  the  light  efficiency  would  be  that  of  MH,  which  means  drastic  saves  on  Electricity  bills.

I  would  be  seriously  looking  at  procuring  it  for  my  3  ft  currently  I  have  4  PLL  36W  and  it  generates  too  much  of  heat,  it  is  attached  to  a  hood,  so  if  I  can  replace  that  with  2  nos.   3  x  20W  I  am  game.  Cause  on  the  long  term  aspect  LED  is  much  better  both  on  the  pocket  as  well  as  to  ensure  that  less  heat  is  collected  while  delivering  the  light  properties  required

Expect  another  order  from  mein  the  near  future  !

Oh  are  these  imported  or  are  you  getting  them  made  ?  Asking  from  the  point  of  stocking  and  availability

Not  sure  how  you  say  that  without  actually  seeing  the  product.  Its  8"  Lenght  by  5"  Wide  and  6"  height  and  it  has  a  clip  on  fitting  to  sit  on  your  aquarium  glass  wall.  Also  technically  you  need  space  for  heat  sinks,  LED  driver  etc.

I  agree  with  Nirav...  I  have  had  LED  fittings  custom  made  before.  The  driver  does  occupy  a  lot  of  space  so  does  the  heatsink.  So  this  looks  pretty  compact.

 @Nirav
 Great  product!!

 Hi  Anish,

One  10W  one  or  if  you  need  to  grow  high  light  demanding  plants  then  one  of  20W  should  be  enough

Few  pointers  I  would  like  to  know.

BTW  any  practical  results  from  these  yet  on  planted  tanks?

 Nirav  Shah

14inch->30W  of  LED??  Shocked   and  the  breadth  and  height?

A  query  more  Nirav,  if  we  have  such  big  heat  sink,  it  means  we  are  expecting  very  high-heat  dissipation;  right?

So  if  we  compare  a  75W  MH  >  heat
and  qty  of  heat  from  this  10W(surface  area  of  sink  is  8"X6"++)<  what  would  be  your  comments  on  efficiency?

 Thanks  a  lot.

Hey  Nirav  also  wanted  to  know  what  you  meant  by  the  colour  temp  ranges  eg:  5700K  -  8000K  ?  Will  the  light  have  adjustable  colour  temps  or  something  ?

These  look  very  interesting  Nirav.   I  am  sure  there  will  be  many  people  eagerly  awaiting  delivery  of  these  lights!   LED  really  is  the  way  forward.

I  would  love  to  get  my  hands  on  a  20w  14000K  to  run  over  one  of  my  Pico  tanks.
