Hi
For a 2 feet you can go with 2 X 10W and 3 Feet either 2 X 30W or 3 X 20W. This should cost you somewhere between 4000 to 6000. However the light efficiency would be that of MH, which means drastic saves on Electricity bills.

I would be seriously looking at procuring it for my 3 ft currently I have 4 PLL 36W and it generates too much of heat, it is attached to a hood, so if I can replace that with 2 nos. 3 x 20W I am game. Cause on the long term aspect LED is much better both on the pocket as well as to ensure that less heat is collected while delivering the light properties required
It Could of been Smaller....and Fitting Arrangement for Aquarium...
Not sure how you say that without actually seeing the product. Its 8" Lenght by 5" Wide and 6" height and it has a clip on fitting to sit on your aquarium glass wall. Also technically you need space for heat sinks, LED driver etc.

I agree with Nirav... I have had LED fittings custom made before. The driver does occupy a lot of space so does the heatsink. So this looks pretty compact.

>I cant see the fitting to seat it on a aquarium glass, is it the hanger provision you talking about?
BTW any practical results from these yet on planted tanks?
