Beautiful... the Indian almond leaves leave tannins in the tank right? I happen to like a dark look to the water.
Btw, what is the Indian almond leaf called commonly in stores here? |

yea tannis are good for fishes...
i collected the leaves from my friends' home...!!!

Almond leaves are good, no doubt...but also remember to take replace them before they get decomposed...the leaves would break up into pieces and litter the tank floor |

Looking good!
A big school of hockey sticks can be a nice feature that seems to be missing at the moment.
Try some greenery too(a few tufts of dwarf agittaria here and there, a bunch of vals at back, etc), its not necessary that biotope tanks should skip that completely. |

There are a school of penguin tetras..I'm planning to remove them and introduce a school of lemon fins.....
As for the greenary... The substrate is not even an inch thick so planting tennelus is not possible... Anubias n mosses should be options... what say?? |

How to prepare the almond leaves ....??
I just collected it ... Washed it n put it in the tank..??
Should I dry it before adding it to the tank ..?? |
