Hey guys,
Jus wanna share one of my hobbies. Mounting fish
This is my own method, standardised after a lot of trial and error. I picked up a few ideas during my fish preservation study.

Thanks guys,
Sevrumkid, It is a long process which takes atleast 4-5 days to get it done and atlest a week to cure.
If you really interested, I can guide you step by step when you doing it. It is a process too long to explain here.
Attached below are a few steps to outline how its done over a period of 5 days. |

Wow! I have seen insects undergoing this process, which is quite simple unlike this.
Thats a job for a patient guy, I can imagine how stinky the process can be.
And yes, your fishes are turning a bit more colorful than they actually are. |

Great work Marc. Patience does not complete the list...creative skills, painting skills and what not Fantastic. Reminds me of RK Narayan's "The man-eater of Malgudi" |

Thanks for the appreciation guys. Din expect so many appreciations.
Hamza, it sure is messy and stinky. I am lucky to have an encouragin wife, she usually cleans the mess for me.
And yes some of my fish end up more colourful than they are depending on where they end.
The Channa and Tilapia would be more life like. The jack is colourful cause it was for a Mangrove diorama prepared for the Pulicat lake interpretation centre. They wanted a colourful mangrove fish to feature in their diorama............so I gave them a really colourFUL fish |
