That  wood  is  wicked.Where  did  you  get  it  from?  Seeing  a  contro  soil  tank  for  the  first  time  in  IAH.Never  knew  it  came  in  two  sizes.Would  definetely  follow  this  thread  from  time  to  time. The  scape  would  rock  once  the  hc  fills  in.Best  of  luck   Smile

 Hey  seethram...........

 your  back  from  Hibernation..................:)

Moving  away  from  ADA  to  contro...............The  last  try  "Dry  Start  Method"  was  absolutely  stunning.  I  guess  this  is  even  better.........:-).

Waiting  to  see  how  the  HC  grows  in  this  tank.

I  have  been  miserably  unlucky  with  dry  start  method  so  v'll  watch  this  thread  very  closely.

Request  you  to  please  provide  some  valuable  information  on  DSM.

 Regards,
 Anish

Yep,  Planning  to  get  back  more  seriously  into  Aquascaping.

I  somehow  prefer  Contro  over  ADA  Amazonia  when  it  comes  to  grain  structure  and  the  even  size.  Plant  growth  wise  its  the  same.  So  why  not  Contro   Smile

This  tank  will  be  undergoing  some  more  changes,  An  update  will  follow  later  today

Nice  one  Seetharam.  Will  the  cut  end  of  the  wood  be  visible  in  your  final  intended  scape?

Exactly  thats  the  one  I  was  talking  abt.   Clapping

But  still  have  a  question.  I  am  not  sure  about  the  size  of  the  rocks.  Don't  you  think  they  will  be  over  powered  by  HC  in  some  months????

And  what  idea  you  have  to  cover  that  ugly  stump  top?  Some  Super  glue  and  Christmass  Moss  can  do  some  wonder.   Thumb Up

 Thanks  Guys

@  Anand  -  Once  i  fill  the  water  it  may  be  about  0.5  -  1.0  Inch  below  the  water  surface,  But  im  hoping  to  adjust  it  enough  so  that  the  cut  end  sticks  out  of  the  water.
