I am getting a new 90 gallon tank made. Its dimensions are 48*18*24 inches using 12 mm glass. I wanted to know what would be the minimun thickness for the styrofoam base needed to support the tank. Am planning to use around 30 kgs of gravel plus some small rocks and pebbles in the tank. Was initially planning to use a 0.75 inch sheet (as my tank dealer suggested it would be sufficient). But on purchasing the sheet i did not feel too confident abt the size and am thinking of going in for a 1.5 inch thick sheet. Wanted to use a 1 inch thick sheet but it was not available. Will a 0.75 inch be fine or should i stick to the 1.5 inch sheet.
