 Nari,

Do  remember  that  it  is  the  Monsoon  season  and  all  the  water  bodies  will  be  in  spate.  You  will  be  lucky  if  you  even  get  a  glimpse  of  a  fish,  let  alone  catch  them  without  risking  life  and  limb.
Why  not  wait  till  the  second  half  of  Sept  when  the  waters  will  subside?

 Regards,

Absolutely  agree  with  Nayak,  not  to  discourage  you  but  one  should  not  try  adventures  against  water  in  monsoon  season.
Here's  live  incident  happened  last  weekend.

Please  remember  to  take  good  lengths  of  nylon  ropes  when  you  go  on  field  trips.  It  might  still  not  be  of  much  use  in  a  situation  like  the  above  sad  video.  But  you  are  better  off  with  one  than  without.

This  should  be  of  some  help  to  you.  But  as  the  others  warned,  be  prepared  to  collect  very  little  or  nothing  and  more  importantly,  safety  first.
