Excel is (possibly cant say for sure) a cyclic polymer of glutaraldehyde. You can polymerize Glutaraldehyde by boiling it and it will form straight chain polymers. Not the same but still a polymer.
Oh and Sandeep why would you say that it wasnt showing any benefits ? My tank has been doing well since the past 10 months on Glut alone after stopping pressurised CO2 and turning down the lighting from 3 to 2 WPG. Others on this forum and others have seen benefits as well. I havent experiened any livestock problems either all my fish and shrimp are fine
