Much needed break from my daily routine.......Holiday trip to this place called Bhalukpong small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Ah. Try to collect in case you do go there again. There atleast half a dozen extremely interesting native fish species reported from the Kameng in Balukpung.
Edit : Any guess on the water temperature. |

The next time you visit such place, try to talk to the fishermen. Tell them that you are interested in fishes. Once you strike a conversation, you can request them to show their catch and maybe photograph. You never know what you get out of such things. |

I agree.Man, you should have bought a few pebbles back home.Would have been a great addition to your planted tank.Nevertheless, its a beautiful place and thanks for sharing the pics bro

@Shovelnose - Water temp was between 15-18 degrees.
@Severumkid - Didn't see any flora in the waterlogging area.
@random2/hrishi007 - Thanks for the tip
Well guys just had 2 hrs in hand to explore this time around so no catch but do take a look at the fish videos. Another trip is very much on the card ...  |
