You ll need 3 of these
http://www.rapidled.com/12-led-plug-n-play-retrofit-kit/
Just talk to them and get the royal blues replaced with XPG cool whites. 60deg optics for dutch style and 40deg for an iwagumi style
Or you could note the stuff and pic same from here http://www.ledgroupbuy.com/ , few costs can vary.
Now thats for bigtime power saving, and you just cant compare these with local LED floodlites etc |

But I would say always go for lesser wattage LED's and have more number of LED's to cover the entire surface area of the tank.
If you are using a 30Watts LED, you will have to really place the led far away from the tank surface for the light to cover the major part of the surface area. Since 10W + led light does not have any optics, you will have to really place them in a height for the light beam to cover the surface area of the tank. |

@Saikumar,
The site you refered are not based out of India, so are the products not readily available in India?
@Shelly,
Couple of questions:-
1. As height of tank is around 20 inches , how about penetration of light as I have ADA based substrate and growing some Glosso and HC
2. There are LED flood lights also available some thing like [ http://www.ebay.in/itm/10-watts-9-LED-Flood-Light-Water-Proof-Out-Door-Design-Warm-White-Light-/230755307486?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item35ba168fde ]
how these are different to led based lights soemthing from rapidled?
3. What is the required wattage requirement in LED to have 3 watts per gallon light source
4. For 10 watts LED , how much height i should have from the water surface and for higher wattage are these optics adjustable for fixed at the time of purchase. |
