Thanks  everyone  for  the  valuable  comments  and  feedback.
i  will  try  to  answer  all  the  questions.

 1)  The  tank  is  extremely  clean  from  inside.Just  few  water  marks  on  outside  of  the  glass.I  didnt  clean  them  before  taking  the  picture.
Picture  has  been  taken  from  my  cellphone  and  its  very  bad  for  taking  my  tank  pics  as  the  colour  in  the  pic  is  totally  different  from  the  actual  colour.

 2)  The  pictures  are  from  day  1  when  i  first  placed  them  in  the  tank. So  the  stress.

 3)  I  have  bought  the  Discus  from  Mr.Sanjay  who  was  recommended  to  me  by  our  very  own  Shiva!  Mr.Sanjay  has  a  discus  hatchery  in  pune  and  is  one  of  The  Most  trustworthy  person  in  pune  to  buy  discus  from.Shiva's  recommendation  and  Humaid's  advice  is  all  i  needed  to  have  faith  in  him.

 4)  Mr.Sanjay  handpicked  the  trio  for  me  &  also  gave  valuable  advice  on  discus  health  and  care.

 5)  I  too  didnt  find  the  shape  perfect  round  but  Mr.Sanjay's  words  assured  me  they  were  the  best  quality.

 6)  Im  not  new  to  the  hobby.Have  my  basics  right. But  i  am  new  to  discus.a  complete  noob. So  i  had  to  go  with  what  the  experts  said!  All  my  decisions  were  according  to  what  the  experts  guided  me  to  do.

 7)  Tank  :  24'x12'x12'  ,  Bare  bottom  with  just  4  small  rocks
 WC  :  20-30%  once  a  day
 Feeding  :  4  times  a  day
 Food  :  Tetra  bits
Equipment  :  Large  sponge  filter, aerator, heater  (set  to  29  Degrees),  Thermometer

 8)  I  just  got  these  fellows  and  they  are  still  not  used  to  dried  food.Im  feeding  them  tetra  bits  for  now  to  get  them  accustomed  to  dry  foods.
Will  feed  them  Discus  Bio-Gold  aswell.

 9)  I  had  a  tetra  community  tank. So  they  shared  the  tank  with  half  a  dozen  neons  &  rummy  nose  along  with  a  pair  of  cherry  barb  and  a  pair  of  female  guppies  on  day  1.
But  i  immediately  removed  all  the  tetras  and  gifted  them  to  my  friend. The  tetras  were  big  in  size  as  i  had  them  since  9  months.
Now  the  current  tankmates  are  a  pair  of  cherry  barbs  and  a  pair  of  female  guppies.

 10)  Cherry  barbs  are  not  recommended  with  discus  but  i  found  them  much  more  peaceful  than  the  tetras.I  offcourse  keep  a  close  watch  on  the  fishes  whenever  i  am  home. Will  remove  the  tank-mates  on  the  first-sight  of  any  mischief.

 11)  1  Discus  keeps  pestering  the  other  two  continuously.Consulted  Mr.Sanjay,he  said  its  not  an  issue, and  i  shouldnt  worry  about  it.Its  common  behaviour.

The  Discus  are  yet  to  settle  down..Once  they  do,the  feeding  routine  and  other  maintenance  will  fall  in  place.

Hush...hope  i  answered  everything...Please  keep  posting  your  valuable  comments  to  help  me  care  for  the  trio.

EDIT  :  I  wanted  to  feed  them  BHM/GHM  prepared  by  Mr.Sanjay  but  he  adviced  me  against  it  as  i  have  other  fishes  aswell. So  if  in  near  future  i  can  find  a  place  for  the  remaining  fishes  i  will  include  GHM  aswell  (if  my  parents  permit   Doh   )

 cheers.

I  would  recommend  beef  heart  until  the  they  attain  a  decent  size.
 Also  recommend  more  water  changes.

Thank  you  Abhi.I  have  edited  my  last  post.Trying  to  find  a  home  for  the  remaining  tankmates.
and  for  now  they  are  helping  to  keep  the  tank  clean  by  eating  the  tetra  bits  (as  discus  are  still  reluctant  to  eat  it).

 cheers.

 Do  first  thing  first:

 1. Remove  other  species.
 2. Clean  the  tank  with  sponge  from  inside.
 3. Adjust  temperature  to  30  dc.
 4. Replace  that  RS  heater,  Get  Ehaim  200  W  which  is  suitable  for  your  tank.
 5. Add  another  3  discus’s  of  same  size,  you  can  try  other  strains.
 6. Feed  them  a  healthy  food.
 7. Do  daily  at  least  50%  WC  with  28  to  30  dc  temperature.
 8. Weekly  clean  the  tank  from  inside,  filter,  pipes  and  heater.

Let  us  know  the  result  after  few  days.

 Cheers,

 That  is  comprehensive!
Just  follow  the  8  commandments  laying  special  stress  on  point  5  immediately.

 Cheers,

Whats  the  difference  between  regular  RS  heater  and  Eheim?I  assume  the  quality?
And  wouldnt  200W  be  high  for  a  2  footer?

I  cant  upgrade  to  a  bigger  tank  in  future...maybe  in  the  distant  future..but  definitely  not  for  now.So  should  i  be  getting  more  discus?
I  guess  1  more  would  suffice  or  rather  limit  my  tank  capacity.
Also  even  though  i  have  several  LFSs  selling  perfectly  round  discus  i  think  i  should  buy  from  the  same  source.Only  problem  is  its  extremely  far  away  from  my  home. What  do  you  recommend?

So  i  can  do  50%  water  change  every  night?

 cheers.
