Hi  guys,  so  finally  im  giving  all  my  monsters,
My  pacu,  my  OScars  all  of  them..
Apparently  my  mom  doesnt  like  the  old  granma  like  oscars   Wall Bang   according  to  her.
and  pacu  spills  lot  of   water.  and  the  oscar  and  pacu  have  starting  to  have  some  issues  among  themselves.
So  now  im  switching  to  a  African  cichlids  tank,
more  colorful  and  more  numbers  (like  my  mom  wants)
As  i  stay  in  mysore,  my  choice  of  fishes  are  very  limited  to  peacocks  of  some  type,  Kenyi  cichlids(yellow, blue, white)  ,auratus, parrots  ,red  devils, green  terrors  are  some  of  the  cichlids  i  get  here.not  much  after  that  too.

Can  anyone  please  suggest  me  what  i  can  stock  in  my  6  footer  tank?
The  tank  pic  is  below,  i  will  get  more  rocks,  loads  of  it..
I  have  2  dolphin  filters  just  today  which  stand  on  the  braces  on  top  of  tank,  which  have  a  powerhead  for  both  of  them.  White  Sand  kinda  gravel.Black  background.
 Thats  tank  specs  and  plan.
Now  i  need  help  in  the  stocking..
 BEFORE

 AFTER

Go  for  Tanganyikans  or  Malawis.  If  you  prefer  Tanganyikans,  then  Frontosa's  would  be  perfect  for  your  tank.  A  tank  of  that  specs  would  be  perfect  for  a  African  Cichlid  Setup.  Best  of  Luck  buddy  Thumb Up

@nick-  frontosa  will  be  perfect,  even  if  u  have  a  tight  budget  the  rate  of  burundi  frontosa  has  dropped  a  lot  u  can  get  3  1.5  incher  for  lowest  4  number.
if  u  dont  want  frontosa  go  for  malawis-  mbuna,  peacocks,  haps,  some  peacocks  look  stunning.
but  u  need  to  change  your  tank  layout-  add  lots  of  rocks,  make  many  caves  ,  lose  the  artificial  decorations  &  if  possible  change  the  gravel  ,  get  sand  instead.  also  try  not  to  keep  other  species  with  cichlids.
what  filtration  are  you  using  in  the  tank??

Fronts  will  be  too  good  to  your  6  ft  tank.  But  it  might  be  cost  you  more.
