 Hi,

can  anyone  tell  me  how  long  does  it  take  for  RCS  hatchlings  to  come  of  noticeable  size.
Am  asking  because  some  of  my  shrimps  were  carrying  eggs,  now  yesterday  i  saw  tiny  dot  like  creatures  in  the  tank(dot  with  a  transparent  tail)  .  I  was  about  the  change  the  scape  of  the  tank  ,  since  currently  its  just  a  tank  with  plants  added  as  i  got  them.
So  how  long  do  i  have  to  wait  for  them  to  grow  so  that  i  can  take  them  out  and  rescape.

 answers  will  be  highly  appreciated.

 Regards
 Asif

they  will  take  noticable  size  in  2  monce  but  the  good  thing  and  bad  thng(for  rescaping)  is  by  that  Tym  there  will  be  2  more  batches  of  shrimplets  and  your  mother  shrimps  will  be  carrying  shrimps......so  if  u  are  waiting  to  rescape  until  all  of  them  grow..........  Drinking

 IME
changing  the  scape  is  a  bad  idea......you  will  lose  a  lot  of  shrimplets
and  again  adult  shrimps  will  take  more  than  a  month  to  start  breeding.

what  i  meant  is  not  all  shrimps  will  breed  at  the  same......  tym  when  ever  u  see  a  group  of  ten  adult  shrimps  u  will  find  atleast  2  or  3  with  eggs....my  suggestion  is  move  the  adult  shrimps  to  a  reasonable  container  so  that  when  the  shrimplets  grow  u  can  move  them  and  rescape  the  tank......

Thanks  for  you  suggestions  Sanket  and  Jabba.  i  guess  i  have  to  wait  for  the  shrimplets  to  grow(  2  months  quite  a  long  time)  ,  its  quite  strainful  for  the  eyes  to  watch  the  tiny  white  dots   Very Happy  ,  in  the  meantime  i  will  keep  a  check  and  transfer  any  berried  female  to  another  2  feet  tank  which  i  am  going  to  scape  properly  this  time.   Smile  .
Infact  i  will  post  a  pic  here  of  my  current  setup  so  that  you  guys  also  get  an  idea  what  i  am  talking  about.

 Thanks  again.
