|
|
I have a betta in a community tank. The betta is housed in a plastic betta house which is attached to side glass of aquarium with vacuums. Today morning when I woke up, the vacuum valves had come off the side glass and the house was floating in the aquarium water. As the level of the water was same as the top lid of my betta house, there was no surface area for the betta to breathe the oxygen from. Not sure how long he had to undergo this trauma. He lied at one end of the house like he was almost dead. I quickly removed the betta house and removed my betta from it and suddenly he started swimming. He seems to be ok but a bit exhausted. He's not eating and is swimming like he is very tired.
Will he recover on his own or should I do something else to aid his recovery. Also, his right gill seems to be a bit enlarged.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Any suggestions are much appreciated as I dont want to lose my beloved LAL BADSHAH (that is name). |

| Add a bit of salt in water and let it be with 3-4 inch water (so that he can easily breath without much efforts). He'll be alright. |

Thanks for your suggestions!! He seems to be back to his normal self (at least 90%). I will keep a close eye on him for the next few days.
@Sumer - I liked your tag line. My entire family says I have OFD |
