 Hi  All
Was  PMing  one  of  the  Mods  since  they  were  online  to  answer  my  query  but  it  seems  that  my  Outbox  still  shows  3  messages  not  sent  yet  since  Thu  Mar  15th  Sad
How  does  one  treat  new  aquarium  plants  for  snail  prevention  which  have  just  been  bought  from  the  LFS  ?  Is  Pottasium  Permagnate  good  ?  How  long  do  I  dip  them  ?
Java  Moss,  Java  Fern  and  Bolbitis  Heteroclita
 Thanks
 Pio

you  can  use  Pottasium  Permagnate  method,  dip  the  plants  for  10-30  seconds  and  wash  them  in  clean  water

This  will  remove  any  snail  eggs  and  unwanted  algae.

 PP  dip  is  good.

enough  PP  should  be  added  to  make  the  water  pink  not  purple  and  then  soak  for  10-15  mins  followed  by  through  washing  under  running  water
