 Some  updates:
Day  45  (more  than  six  weeks  after  the  eggs  were  laid).

 1.  The  stripes  are  prominent.
 2.  No  more  RO  water.....gradually  moved  them  to  tap  water.  But  I  do  not  add  the  tap  water  directly.  Given  the  summer,  twice  a  week  I  change  40%  of  the  water  from  my  4  feet  planted  tank   (running  for  over  2.5  years  now).  The  old  water  from  the  tank  goes  to  the  Angel  tank.  This  ensures  the  water  is  matured,  softer  and  most  importantly  cool  9tap  water  in  Gurgaon  I  am  sure  is  now  running  at  35  degrees  plus  atleast)
 3.  Food.  Gradually  started  on  Hikary  Flakes,  crushed  Tetrabits.  However,  primary  diet  still  is  live  feed-  Artemia  and  Micro  Tubifex.  Some  pics
 4.  casualties:  From  around  200  odd  eggs,  my  last  count  (2  weeks  back)  I  had  70.  Most  deaths  occur  in  the  first  3-4  days.  Infact,  you  will  observe  no  deaths  till  the  time  the  parents  are  there  (in  my  case  kept  the  parents  were  with  the  fries  for  over  3  weeks)  as  they  will  polish  off  any  dead  or  dying  fries!  Thereafter  deaths  are  few  and  in  my  case  purely  due  to  accident....like  one  got  stuck  in  the  siphon,  two  in  the   filter,  two  hit  by  the  net.....  So  post  first  2  weeks,  I  would  say  i  have  lost  not  more  than  8-10  fries  out  of  80  odd  who  made  it  past  the  first  two  weeks
Steps  ahead:  Separate  the  'fast  growers'  from  the  slow  growers  and  raise  them  differently.

 Now  some  pics

Three  months  later,  how  do  the  fries  look?  I  have  kept  aside  a  dozen  for  me  in  the  planted  tank.  Introduced  them  few  hours  back.  Here  are  some  pics.

This  is  the  BW  setup,  where  a  dozen  adult  Scalares  were  introduced  in  Feb

A  dozen  babies  are  now  in  a  4  feet  planted  setup

The  babies  are  are  now  ready  to  travel  to  their  new  homes.  Thanks  babies,  you  have  been  wonderful,  watching  you  grow  was  absolutely  great  experience.....Hope  I  get  some  more  chance  to  see  you  guys  grow  and  be  the  wonderful  kids  your  parents  were

 Lovely  Clapping

Nothing  beats  Cardinals  and  Angels  in  a  planted  tank.  And  the  Joy  is  multiplied,  especially  if  one  of  them  has  been  bred  and  Raised  by  you.

 Regards,

 Hi  Nayak,

 Ganesaa,

yep,  looks  like  Neon's.  The  red  is  only  half  way  from  the  belly  in  the  pics.  My  mistake.

Bappa  Superb.  A  sense  of  satisfaction  looking  at  the  juvies  playing  around  in  the  tank.  I  lost  all  except  1  of  my  Betta  frys.  He  is  now  growing  up.  sharing  space  with  a  snail.  Happy  to  see  him.
You  too  would  be  having  the  same  feeling.  Very Happy
