Hi Thuds,
Those were white marble stones and I was told that they tend to react with CO2 and cause some pH imbalance. I didnt want to take a risk. So got rid of them  |

Nice tank..
I would suggest you to lower your diffuser to the bottom of the tank. Also the filter outlet spray bar is not properly positioned. Usually the inlet and outlet are placed on both the corners of the tank. And the spray bar is kept opposite to the co2 diffuser so that the water flow from the spray bar pushes the bubbles into the bottom of the tank. |

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try and reposition them during my next water change.
BTW here are my tank specs:
Dimensions: 120 X 40 X 50 cm
Filter: Sunsun HW 304 A Canister
CO2 kit with needle valve regulator
Aquazonic T5 light setup
Controsoil black substrate
10 Neon tetras
6 Cherry Red Shrimps
Plants : ( Yet to figure out all the names. The ones I know are listed below)
1. Marsilea
2. Cabomba
3. Cryptocorynes
4. Echinodorus
5. Hottonia palustris
6. Rotala wallichii
