Substrate: Caribsea Floramax with peat and a narrow layer of laterite.
Lighting: 2x20WT5HO (10000k+6700k) + 1x15WT8 8000K. Total 55WPG. And no algae
No C02 yet. Wish I could add an Eheim 2215 and CO2 in the future. May be a little too much for a 10G.

I will eventually get rid of the large swords and move all vals to background, when tiny they look really cute. Anyway they will melt away when I add co2 and ro water. Waiting to tank to cycle for a two months to add a small discuss and rams.
When hygrophila grows more, will replant the cuttings and throw out the base. Also planning to add blyxa as I move out anubias to a low-light tank.

A little over two weeks.. Changed the lights this weekend though. I was initially running on one 15W T8.
In a week there will be algae. I am hoping that phosphates and the shrimps will help keep algae under control. However the gouramis are terrorizing the shrimps. Will provide updates as it goes.
