 Hi  guys,
 a  few  days  back  i  bought  like  half  a  dozen  what  i  think  is  datnioides  microlepis.
 I  just  have  a  doubt  whether  ive  been  tricked  to  a  much  cheaper  datnoides  polota.(which  are  supposed  to  be  cheaper)
 Please  confirm,  and  let  me  know  what  i  can  feed  this  guy.
 i  Tried  live,  he  ate  at  times..  but  i  dont  want  to  continue.
 He  din  eat  blood  worms,tubifex  worms,hikari  first  bites,  hikari  any  other  food,  tetra  bits.  he  just  wants  live  food
 Here  is  the  vidoe  of  one  of  those  guys..
 this  guy  is  very  active...sometimes  very  pale  and  hiding...serious  mood  swings  lol

 Hey  how  many  aquariums  do  you  have?  Very Happy  You  seem  to  be  keeping  all  kinds  of  fish  while  most  of  us  have  to  curb  our  desire  for  new  species  due  to  want  of  aquariums.   Thumb Up

 Can't  tell  from  the  video..  Can  you  get  a  pic  of  the  caudal  fin  ?
 
 I  think  it's  a  D.polota  but  not  100%  sure...

 Hmm,  can  u  tell  how  do  i  identify  /  differentiate  the  both?
 its  kind  of  difficult  to  get  pics  of  him  for  now...  he  gets  scared  even  if  switch  on  the  lights..or  go  near  him..ill  try  takin  pics..
