Before IAH went online, we in Bangalore have ASK - Aquarists Society of Karnataka, this was the genesis of the Sunday meet from 1998.
1998 to almost 2009 every Sunday was blocked in the calender for the meet at Cubbon Park. From 2009 for some reason the meetings became spordiac.
We are trying to revive ASK which is a registered Society, but has gone dormant,
but that is a monumental task. Moreover all members of ASK are not hobbyists many are retired Fisheries dept officials etc.,
So we are continuing the ASK tradition of a Sunday meet, it does not matter weather it is IAH or ASK or something else,
the important thing is that hobbyists can meet and network face to face. |

'Sujo' the meeting gathers momentum only after 11:00 am to end at 1:00, however I can turn up little early if you can stay till i reach and hand over the 'giveaway plants' so that i can distribute them to the other needy members.
I am in as usual and I am looking to BUY loose (2 handful is enough) substrate of ADA - Amazonia II, in case any one has surplus and want to sell them can bring them to the meet.

Hi Umesh,
We have lot many experts there at the ASK meet.
Even I want to speak to them and get some of my doubts cleared regarding the preparation and dosing of ferts !!
I have a guest coming to my home at noon time and that is why I said I will leave by 10:30.
Also I was thinking that the time is from 10am.
Thanks to Madan for clarifying the timings.
I will replan things and will try to spend more time with everyone. |
