Starting a new planted tank with HC using DSM method. Need expert advice on the process..

Add more light. Start with 6 hrs for the first week and then gradually increase by an hour every weeks. Cover the top of the tank with cling film and then put the hood on. Yes to some extent it needs to be airtight to keep the humidity in. Keep just one small corner open to allow gas exchange. Add water by misting tith a sprayer. Separate the HC into individual plantlets and push that in the substrate
