|
|
Just setup my 30x12x12 tank planted with a few crypts, hopefully you will see a pic here -
I want to have a shoal of barbs, I am only able to get the regular Rosy/Tiger/Cherry/Golden/Tinfoil Barbs but want some other ones that are hardy and can breed.
Melon / Arulius barbs or something like them will be the best, can someone help me source 3-4 pairs of these for me? or suggest alternatives that they can get?
Regards
Pradeep |

There are more than a few members on this forum who keep native barbs... the reason for their general unpopularity is the "ghar ki murgi, daal barabar" principle... |

PC, google images will turn up pics of the first five species on your list. gelius will max out at just over an inch and is best kept in the species tank. The next four all look fairly similar and will grow to about 2", phutunio being a bit smaller... The last two, I have never seen. |
