 for  foreground,  you  can  have:
 1)  HC  Cuba
 2)  Staurogyne  repens
 3)  hair  grass

 for  midground:
 1)  blyxa  japonica
 2)  so  Hydrochortyle  tripartita

 for  the  wood:
 1)  go  for  mossed  and  only  some  anubias  to  keep  the  characterstics  of  the  wood

for  background  I  would  suggest  not  to  go  for  taller  plant  but  some  thing  like  e  vesuvias  which  do  not  grow  to  that  height.

Blyxa  in  the  back  corner,  moss  on  the  wood   and  a  mixture  of  HC,  Hair  grass  and  marselia  in  the  rest  of  the  tank.  I  think  you  should  allow  them  to  mix  a  little,  it  will  make  it  look  very  natural

 Abhishek,

Go  with  2x36  watts  of  light  for  first  2  weeks  and  for  about  4-5hrs  a  day,  increase  the  photo  period  and  intensity  gradually.

 Good  luck!!

 Cheers,
 Binesh

google  it  Jabba  Chuckle  there  are  plenty  of  scapes  with  porto  velho........Abhishek  in  IMHO  the  big  wood  at  the  back  looks  a  bit  odd  since  it  seems  to  be  different  from  the  rest...just  my  2bits....  Very Happy

 Marc.

I  agree  Marc...planning  to  add  moss  on  the  larger  piece  of  wood...will  remove  it  if  it  still  looks  odd..
Thanks  for  all  the  suggestions  friends

 Hi  Marc,

 I  already  did  googling....
The  problem  is  that  at  many  places  they  have  used  the  same  picture  for  porto  velho  carpet  and  repens  carpet.

 Eg  is  below

 Porto  velho

 http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/plantfinder/details.php?id=253

 Repens  carpet  link

Time  for  an  update.  Decided  to  start  with  HC  (this  will  be  my  first  attempt  with  HC.....I  have  only  grown  sagitaria  and  vanesneria  well  so  far:))
Will  begin  with  emersed  setup  (first  attempt  with  that  too....fingers  crossed  )
I  have  added  anubias,  hair  grass  and  HC  for  the  dry  start  and  depending  on  the  success/failure  of  my  progress  I  will  take  this  further...

Looking  forward  for  your  suggestions  as  I  progress.....
