 Ordering  following  from  Mumbai
 Otocinclus
 Hill  Stream  Loach
 Cardinal  Tetra
 assassin  snails
 Red  white  crystal  shrimp

Will  they  survive  40  hours  of  travel  in  addition  to  the  2  hours  travel  to  my  home  from  railway  station?

Can  railway  parcels  be  sent  to  small  railway  stations  too?  The  main  station  in  my  case  is  trivandrum  nearly  45  km  away.  But  I  have  a  smaller  station  just  2  km  from  home.

 Please  advice.

IMO,  you  should  have  order  it  from  Chennai  Kolathur,  So  the  travel  time  will  be  less  as  compare  to  Mumbai  to  Trivandrum  .

Fill  the  bag  with  oxygen  gas.  And  stop  feeding  the  fish  one  day  before.

@DRDHEEP  -  From  where  in  Mumbai  are  you  ordering  them?

I  guess,  they  will  be  stressed  heavily...40  hrs  is  considerable  amount  of  time.

They  will  not  survive  40hrs  of  journey.  Why  dont  you  get  it  through  Airlines.  I  have  received  many  shipments  from  Pune  successfully.

Dont  try  such  things....  Ask  fins  and  flora(Binesh)  or  aquabynature(seetharam)  They  may  send  it  from  banglore  it  will  be  better.....
From  the  list  of  fish  mentioned  I  feel  it  is  economical  to  buy  them  if  you  have  recent  trip  to  banglore  or  chennai.

@  Ruchit  -  could  you  please  provide  more  details  on  how  you  managed  it  and  which  Airlines?  One  of  my  friend  is  relocating  back  to  Bhubaneshwar  from  Mumbai  and  was  asking  about  options  to  ship  his  stock.  I  suggested  him  to  ask  the  experts  here  and  now  will  provide  him  the  link  to  this  topic.

@  DR  -  where  is  baba  aquatic  in  Mumbai?  never  heard  of  it.
