Amazing...What are the different fishes that are there in the video. I could recognize discuses and Eel, but really interested to know the chichlids. |

The current stocklist
30 Discus royal blue
10 Geophagus winemilleri
6 Geophagus heckelii
50 Congo tetra
1 Fire eel
4 neon gobies
6 Garra gotyla
5 clown loaches
2 elephant nose fish
4 spotted Raphael catfish
2 Panama/twig whiptail catfish
2 red whiptail catfish
4 bristlenose plecos
1 veiltail bristlenose
2 X L177 gold nugget pleco
1 X L240 vampire pleco
2 X red hi fin pleco
20 golden panchax
Relics from previous stocking - 2 yo-yo loaches, 2 denisonii barbs, 1 Rasbora daniconicus
Making some changes to the stock now. Removed the 6 Geophagus heckelii from the tank. Will remove 10 of the smaller discus I have and will remove the Congo tetra.
Adding 300 cardinal tetra to the tank soon.
Most of the discus are 6" + now and a pair formed recently and started laying eggs I have no intention of raising fry though.
Will post pics/ videos soon |

Removed 25 female Congo tetra I had in the tank. Removed 7 of the smaller discus (wanted to remove 10 of the 30)... that was all we could catch after an hour of standing inside the tank
Added 200 harlequin rasbora and 100 rummy nose tetra 2 days ago
Decided to add these instead of the cardinals as they are broader and better at not being eaten.
https://youtu.be/WrL2DckikT8
Video taken a few hours after adding the fish
https://youtu.be/kIETgd5tJCI
Can't wait for them to colour up.
Removed the golden panchax as soon as i noticed them trying to eat the harlequins.
The discus and the big Geophagus winemilleri show no interest in the small fish so far.
So I finally got a chance to measure the discus. The two smallest runts I had were around 4" the other 5 that I removed were 5" to 5.5". Most of the other discus are around 6.5" the largest one in the tank is 7"
The discus are much larger than I thought lol They don't look so big from the outside |

Still awesome, well done! Would love to see how those schooling fish are doing by now? Imho it would have been better to go for only one species. |

It is always wonderful see such a beautiful & big aquarium of Doc Siddu & how well he maintains it (That too in India by a Individual Hobbyit)
You should let us know know your maintains routines & your feeding.
Once again a great tank.
