 Dear  friends  ,  i  need  advise  .

My  nano  tank  co2  pipe  line  has  a  distance  of  7  meters  which  also  has  several  joints  till  reaching  the  glass  ceramic  diffuser.  The  co2  cylinder  is  kept  in  a  different  room  and  storey  so  the  joints  cannot  be  avoided  .

The  problem  is  the  joints  started  to  leak  when  connected  to  the  diffuser  which  demands  some  pressure  to  work  .  What  needs  to  be  known  is  ,  would  a  co2  reactor  add  any  pressure  on  co2  tube  line  which  cause  the  leak  .

 Please  provide  a  solution

 Thanks
 Vijay

If  you  are  using  ceramic  diffuser,  there  will  be  back  pressure.  The  options  you  have  are

 1.  Change  connectors  to  stop  leaks.
 2.  Use  power  head  to  diffuse  CO2,  where  there  will  be  no  back  pressure.
 3.  Reactor  will  also  work  fine.

 Eureca,

You  can  even  think  of  replaing  the  complete  line  with  a  single  piece,  so  as  to  avoid  the  joints.  Also  install  the  new  line  of  pneumatic  application,  so  that  the  pressure  that  it  can  withstand  will  also  be  higher.

Install  one  NRV  near  to  the  diffuser,  so  that  in  case  there  is  some  back  pressure,  it  won't  go  all  the  way  across  the  complete  line.

 Thanks  wads  ,

I  have  used  a  couple  of   "L"  joints  to  bend  the  pipe  line  at  wall  corners  ,  needed  to  keep  the  pipelines  camouflaged  especially  to  wife  and  dad  Smile  .

I  have  installed  a  Nrv  near  the  diffuser  .

 Eureca,

Try  fitting  one  touch  fittings  similar  to  one  in  the  below  link.

 http://www.janatics.com/Fittings.htm

They  will  give  better  fitment  against  the  typical  L  bend  used  for  aeration  tubing.
