Hello Folks,
First, the good news. The new gallery is up & running.
Now, the bad news. It's not integrated with the IAH system. So, no "latest pictures", "random photos", will be displayed here.
After struggling with integration issues for nearly two months, I have decided to install a stand along system for the time being. It will be integrated with this system at a later date.
The new software is extremely feature rich & user friendly. Please do visit http://indianaquariumhobbyist.com/gallery2 . Please register with the same username & id as this system. At this point of time, we are still in the testing mode. Changes should be expected.
Note to members who had uploaded pictures earlier in the old system. Please note that all your pictures are safe & secure. To get back your pictures, you should first register with the new gallery & then PM me. We will then transfer your old photos to the new system. However, please note that we will do this ONLY after the testing process is completed, maybe in a week's time.
Any issues regarding the gallery may be posted here.

Ravi,
I registered myself in the New gallery.....
I haven't got any confirmation mail on that..... and it seems that I have to confirm my registration through the link in the confirmation mail... not sure what went wrong.......  |

I have tested the registration process & will confirm that it's working all right. Make sure that the email id which you enter there is valid & you had not made a spelling or syntax mistakes.
For example, many users have yahoo.co.in id, but are typing yahoo.com ! |

No Ravi... I didn't get any confirmation email.....
I doubt if I had spelled my gmail id wrong...........
Can you please check the database if I had given the id gokulin[at]gmail[dot]com....
I think the only possibility is I would have erred with the email id........... |

I have registered with my original id and email id. Got confirmation mail and completed process. But i see only two folders. Do i understand that only after the origianl users confirms registration you will upload their stored folders??? |

Ravi, when i log in and click on "my album" the album is automatically created. But the album names of our old version will differ. I had created albums earlier as "venki25" but now the album is automatically getting created as "Venkatesh" |

Albums are autocreated on first access. Don't worry about the album names. |
