 Thank  You  Mitul,
Now,  from  the  onset  I  got  them  later  than  anticipated  so  had  ample  time  on  hand  to  plan  their  arrival   Very Happy
I  presently  house  them  in  an  acrylic  tank  1'  X  1.5'  X  1.5'  -  the  tank  has  a  built  in  filter  system  with  an  over  head  light.  I  took  some  gravel  and  half  of  the  water  also  from  an  existing  tank  added  50%  fresh  water  and  a  capful  of  Melafix  to  the  tank  and  introduced  the  fish  to  the  tank  after  acclimatising  them.
Day  one  -  the  fish  dart  for  cover  at  the  slightest  movement  near  the  tank  -  reluctant  to  feed  on  grinded  tetra  bits.
Day  two  -  lights  off  to  comfort  them  and  it  definitely  helped  -  fish  schooled  and  were  seen  exploring  the  tank  fed  them  cyclopezee  and  they  had  it  with  a  bit  of  reluctance.
Day  three  -  still  lights  off  and  fish  seem  bolder  than  before  now  not  caring  for  any  movements  around  the  tank.  fed  eagerly  on  veggie  flakes  and  ADP  (artificial  daphnia  powder)  -  Thank  God  I  had  one!
Day  four  -  showing  colour  but  still  very  less  of  the  bluish  tinge  on  the  body  -  the  golden  spots  are  prominent  and  so  is  the  red  on  the  fins  may  be  still  time.....
Day  five  -  lights  on  for  only  two  hours  but  still  nervous  during  the  light  on  period  when  off  the  fish  seems  comfortable.  As  of  now  fish  are  all  by  them  selves  and  with  no  tank  mates  -  plan  to  put  in  some  fluorescent  zebra  danios  along  with  them  and  upgrade  them  to  a  bigger  tank  48"  X  12"  X  12"  with  some  bogwood  and  anubias.
BTW  they  are  happy  at  7.5  pH  and  love  some  water  movement  -  it  is  also  interesting  to  note  that  even  after  a  week  the  fish  does  not  come  up  to  the  surface  to  feed  and  likes  to  feed  only  on  suspended  food  particles.

 Updates:
Changed  30%  of  the  water  added  some  cryptos  to  the  tank  and  guess  what  -  they  like  to  lurke  below  the  safety  of  the  plant  leaves  and  are  more  active.  also  feeds  readily  on  azoo  micro  pellets.
One  fish  has  a  red  patch  on  the  belly  it  came  in  with  the  red  patch  but,  the  fish  is  healthy  and  active  -  just  curious  as  to  what  it  might  be????
And  come  on  all  you  guys  who  got  the  fish  start  posting  your  experiences  and  updates  here!  What  are  you  waiting  for?
 @Rocky,

 My  update  here.

Had  6  fishes  earlier  in  my  shrimp  tank.  Added  4  more  to  this  today.

Ph  of  the  tank  is  7.1,  Trying  to  maintain  a  mild  brakish  environemnt  in  a  moss  tank.  Have  a  green  alge  infestation.
Feeding  them  Tetra  colour  bits  and  breeder  bits.  No  mortalities  till  date.  But  can  tell  you  that  the  colouration  on  this  is  now  like  the  first  pic  of  the  post.

Are  there  any  one  who  have  added  these  to  a  planted  tank  with  an  acidic  PH.  Looks  like  these  fishes  do  not  like  acidic  PH  as  per  the  preliminary  info  that  i  have  got.  But  this  info  might  be  wrong.

So  request  more  people  to  share  their  experiences.

 Raghu
