 helo  everybody..
 i  am  tapas.from  kolkata..
for  white  spot  .use  cheleted  copper  solution  ...which  has  to  be  made  with  copper  sulfate  crystal  ,which  is  easily  available  in  the  old  type  grocery  shop  and  a  small  pinch  of  1  gram  citric  acid  which  is  available  in  any  medicine  shop.
formula  for  preparation  ...small  pinch  of  citric  acid  ,  mix  it  with  1ltsof  distilled    luke  worm  water  and  then  put    2  gms.of  copper  sulfate  crystal  and  then  store  it.  this  stock  solution  is  prepared  ..for  every  100  lts  use  3ml    for  medication  .it  is  a  slow  process  but  effective,  even  can  be  used  in  the  planted  tank  no  harm  with  the  plants  becouse  plants  requir  bit  of  copper  ..
this  chilleted  copper  will  remain  in  the  water  ,which  will  not  pecipate  in  the  aquarium  water  forming  copper  carbonate  ..this  happens  becouse  of  the  carbonate  salt  present  in  the  water,  and  cheleted  copper  isless  toxic  then  direct    charging  of  copper  sulfate.
 EXample  has  to  be  checked.......
take  a  glass  of  normal  tap  water  and  drop  a  piece  of  copper  sulfate  then  dissolve  it  ,,it  will  be  observrd  that  this  solution  colour  is  cloudy  bluish, this  is  due  to  copper  mixing  with  carbonate  which  was  already  on  the  water.
and  within  a  day  it  will  be  observed  that  copper  has  pecipated  on  the  bottom.
but  if  u  take  a  pinch  of  acitic  acid  in  a  glass  of  water  and  dissolve  it  then  put  a  piece  of  copper  sulfate  in  the  glass  wait  till  it  gets  dissolved  ..u  will  observe  that  there  is  no  cloudy  bluish  but  clear  light  blue  colour..
 NOTE:-
and  if  there  is  precipation  in  any  medicine  preparation  or  stock  solution    receipe  which  you  make  of  your  own  ,its  expiry  date  is  very  quick..which  may  be  problem  for  the  fish  .
my  sugession:-  it  is  better  to  take  time  and  understand  the  chemical  processing  of  mine  before  being  excited  and  trying  to  make  it.

In  my  experimental  job  there  is  no  other  rabbit  i  use  ,but  i  am  the  only  rabbit  for  my  experiment  and  if  it  is  successful  ,then  only  i  give  sugession  to  others,so  i  have  tried  out  this  formula  before  few  years.
