 Hi  Everyone,

I  posted  on  IAH  nearly  a  year  ago  that  I  was  moving  from  the  US  to  Hyderabad,  and  I  finally  have  a  tank  going!

I  now  travel  frequently  to  Chennai.  I'd  appreciate  recommendations  from  all  on  specific  stores  in  those  cities,  or  Online  shoppping.  I  saw  a  mention  of  Petsomainia,  but  no  actual  recommendation  of  it.  Has  anyone  shopped  online  from  there  or  another  place?  Did  the  order  arrive  safely,  healthy  and  was  it  correct?

 Also,  is  anyone  propagating  corals?

I  have  found  Seaworld  in  Hyderbad  to  be  better  than  most  becuase  often  the  stock  does  not  get  sold  right  away  so  you  can  get  an  idea  if  it's  healthy.  Still,  I  made  a  mistake  and  bought  a  carpet  anemone  and  I  realize  now  in  my  tank  that  it  had  bleached  before  I  bought  it.

I'd  really  like  a  bubble  tip  anemone,  but  I  understand  that  they  are  hard  to  get.  Meanwhile,  they  are  the  easiest  to  get  to  split!

So  advice  is  needed  for  suppliers  on:
 Cleaner  crews
 healthy  anemones  BTA  preferred
 Fish
 corals
 Macroalgae-esp.  Chaetomorpha
Also,  I  missed  the  Hyderabad  meeting  a  long  time  back.  Is  somone  arranging  a  tank  tour?

 Thanks  everyone!!!
 FF

 Main  tank=  147  ltrs
 Sump  =  46  ltr
 Flush-Wave/'Fuge=  40ltr

I  wouldnt  advise  keeping  anemones  without  Metal  Halide  lighting  or  VHO  or  T5  or  LED  lighting  ...

Anemones  can  live  for  years  and  years  in  the  wild  and  its  cruel  to  keep  taking  them  out  of  the  sea  and  starving  them  of  their  food  source  which  is  light.

Anemones  also  demand  high  water  quality,  good  water  movement  and  space.

Bubble  tip  anemones  are  beautiful  but  they  wander  all  over  the  tank  till  they  find  a  suitable  spot...Carpets  are  better  in  that  respect  as  they  just  need  a  sandbed  to  be  comfortable.

Corals  are  easy  to  propogate  especially  soft  corals...just  take  a  blade  or  knife  and  make  a  cut  and  attach  them  to  Live  rock  using  superglue...LPS  corals  are  more  difficult  to  frag  except  the  branching  variety  which  can  be  fragged  by  breaking  off  a  branch  with  pliers  at  the  joints...

Can  anyone  suggest  a  few  shops  in  Chennai  or  Bangalore?  I  do  visit  Chennai  monthly  but  would  not  really  have  the  time  to  explore  each  one  in  the  LFS  list.  I  go  the  an  office  on  Mount  rd,  and  also  by  the  tidal  park  area,  but  would  venture  farther  out  if  needed.

I'd  appreciate  some  remmendations.  I  go  to  Bangalore  on  occasion  too.

 Thanks,
 FF
