 Hi  Nathan,

Very  neat.  Pardon  my  ignorance.  Is  there  any  particular  reason  you  have  the  plants  in  the  plastic  container.  Can  you  please  explain?

 Cheers,
 Prem

Arul  Nathan,  I  think  it  is  best  you  upload  your  pictures  to  the  Gallery  and  give  a  link.  You  can  put  a  link  in  your  signature  if  you  feel  inclined.

 Hello  Arul,

Very  nice  &  inspiring,  never  knew  you  could  do  up  a  wonderful  tank  like  this  with  Vals,  Amazon,  could  you  please  breakdown  the  substrate  &  lighting  that  you  have  used.  My  tank  dimensions  are  very  similar  to  yours.  Am  eager  to  start  a  tank  like  this  myself  for  my  RBP's.

Great  tank  &  all  the  best   Thumb Up

 Cheers
 Ravi

Nice  tank  Arul!  Your  fish  look  great  also.  I  love  the  Rainbows.  This  is  exactly  what  I  wanted  to  see,  plants  in  pot  set  in  a  bare  bottom  tank.  I  might  try  this  with  an  assortment  of  different  decorations.

First  Reason....RENTED  place...Smile..and  Moving  around  with  Substrate  tank  is  imposible...so  started  to  keep  plants  in  the  containers.

Also  my  old  56g  Tank  Pictures  have  gone  to    "2007  AGA  International  Aquascaping  Contest"  and  the  organiser  Mr.  Erik  was  more  than  happy  to  receive  this  concept  to  the  show..check  the  pics  in  AGA  in  November.

 -------------

 @  Rocky

Rocky  you  must  have  seen  my  old  56g  Tank  (sold  out),  this  is  my  new  Barebottom  tank  78g  with  old  driftwood.

 @  n  i  r  a  n  j  a  n

Found  out  that  putting  2  filters  gives  me  a  crystal  clear  water...Smile

 ------------

 @  Trevor

This  Planted  Tank  is  shown  here  for  the  results  acheived  without  dosing  of  any  FERTILIZERS  &  Co2...a  hassle  free  Tank.

 @  Ravi

Substrate  :  Golden  Sand  with  Garden  Soil  in  the  bottom.

Great  tank  Nathan!  I  m  really  astonished  to  see  such  a  healthy  rate  of  oxygen  from  plants.  You  have  achieved  it  in  4  months  without  any  ferts?  I  love  low  tech  tanks  and  I  consider  it  better  going  that  way  instead  of  using  DIY  ferts  and  CO2  ending  up  with  unstable  tanks.

 Hi  Arul,

This  looks  great  after  moving  all  (almost)  the  pots  behind  the  driftwood.  Try  to  get  some  more  driftwood  in.

 Congrats.
